Henderson Community Foundation (NV)



The Henderson Community Foundation (HCF) - which provides resources and support to improve the health, education and quality of life in the Henderson community - was founded in 2002 as a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization.


Founding board members of the foundation consist of past graduates of Leadership Henderson - a program produced by the Henderson Chamber of Commerce, which educates and empowers civic-minded professionals toward the goal of building and maintaining a strong network of effective community leaders.

When Hannah Davis   traveled to China to teach English, she noticed how Chinese workers and farmers were often sporting olive green army-style shoes. Those shoes served as her inspiration to create her own social enterprise, Bangs Shoes.
